Founder Dr. Mihir K. Sinha has more than twenty-five years of hands-on experience in both Energy Financing (Commercial/Investment Banking) and Engineering practices (Petroleum/Chemical). His diversified financial and technical background draws from numerous domestic and international projects involving formation of joint ventures, mergers, acquisition & divestitures, capital structure issues, project finance, non-recourse and recourse lending, risk management, re-capitalization, investments, equity & credit research, and more. Emerging markets experience includes the Former Soviet Union, Latin America and Asia. He has consulted on the financing for development of oil fields and other energy-related projects, as well as business valuation for these ventures. He has managed a $3 billion portfolio of J.P. Morgan’s energy-related exposure to clients and counter parties successfully and profitably.

Our past experience with successfully financing a number of projects in the energy sector puts IFTC in an ideal position for project (limited recourse /non-recourse) or structured finance advisory assignments in this sector (oil and gas development and production, pipelines, LNG facilities, petrochemicals, refineries, and independent power production).
